Jincheng City, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Shanxi Province, is located in the southeast of Shanxi Province and the border of Shanxi and Henan provinces. The whole city is located in the Jincheng basin with a total area of 9490 square kilometers, which is known as “the barrier of Hedong, the throat of the Central Plains and the gateway of Shanxi”.
